Muir Matheson are able to integrate direct vessel motion measurement with air gap monitoring at each corner of the semi-sub to provide dynamic feedback to the DP system combined with visual indicators of tilt and motion. Our software will enable you to introduce the element of predictive control to your DP system compensating for losses in Taught Line Wire monitoring due to heavy seas, “leaning” your vessel into the prevailing wave direction to maximise on board stability and maintain steady riser angles.
