Muir Matheson’s success continues within the offshore industry with systems either already supplied or due for delivery to a wide range of offshore destinations from the Buzzard and Saturn fields in offshore UK, Shah Deniz and East Azeri in the Caspian Sea, the Corocoro field off Venezuela, the ERHA field off Nigeria, Dalia in West Africa and the Sunkar rig in offshore Kazakhstan. In addition to the system supplied to the Shah Deniz project, we have also recently deployed two wave buoys in this area to gather data in order to assist operations and platform installation work. The three site system supplied to Libya in 2003 has now been successfully installed and commissioned.

Over the past year, Muir Matheson has been developing its relationship with Metocean Services International, therefore strengthening its capability within the Oceanography sector. MSI was launched in 2003 and, although a new company, it brings together a management team with over 28 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. MSI have been assisting us on our Kazakhstan project during the last 12 months.

Looking ahead, Muir Matheson is expecting to maintain its presence in both the CIS States and West Africa whilst also meeting the high level of demands for projects in the UK North Sea and various other sectors.
